The “Takbo para sa West Philippine Sea” is an advocacy run organized by RUNRIO INC. together with the Philippine Coast Guard, National Task Force-West Philippine Sea ,Philippine Information Agency and the Presidential Communication Office.
RUNRIO INC. founded by its President, Rio de la Cruz, celebrity runner, international marathoner and a sought after running coach aims to support the national government’s efforts in raising awareness about the importance of the West Philippine Sea.
The proceeds of the funds of this run will be used to produce reading materials on the history, activities and the truth about the West Philippine Sea and will be distributed for free around the country.
The “Takbo para sa West Philippine Sea” trilogy venue and schedules are JULY 07, 2024 in SM MOA Complex, AUGUST 11, 2024 in SM Seaside City Cebu and SEPTEMBER 8, 2024 in Limketkai Center , Cagayan de Oro., respectively. More than just a medal, it’s a stand for our nation’s sovereignty.
