Casino Plus joins Clark community in observing Lent, supports Holy Child Chapel Restoration
Clark, Pampanga – March 2026 As Holy Week approaches—a time of quiet reflection, prayer, and devotion—Casino Plus, one of the country’s leading responsible gaming platforms duly licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), reaffirms its commitment to supporting not only communities, but also the traditions that continue to shape them.
Guided by its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillar on Community Support for Culture, Casino Plus works alongside partners to help preserve spaces and practices that hold deep meaning for Filipino communities. In collaboration with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), the company supports initiatives that sustain sacred spaces and keep Lenten traditions accessible and relevant to today’s generation.
Among these efforts is the restoration of the Chapel of the Holy Child, made possible through a ₱999,000 contribution from Casino Plus. More than a physical renovation, the initiative seeks to quietly restore the chapel’s role as a place of gathering and reflection. Where only a few once attended Mass, the space is now gradually welcoming more members of the community once again—an encouraging sign as many prepare to observe the solemn traditions of Holy Week. The effort helps ensure that the chapel remains a space where faith can be practiced and shared across generations.
Complementing this, Casino Plus also extended ₱300,000 in support of “Panata at Tradisyon: Lenten Reflections Through Faith, Art, and Tradition in Clark,” an initiative led by CDC. The program offers an opportunity for individuals and families to engage more deeply with the meaning of Lent through a thoughtful blend of faith, culture, and tradition.
Through Stations of the Cross installations, Via Crucis performances, and Visita Iglesia, the initiative creates space for reflection and encourages a shared experience of the Lenten season. By helping preserve and reintroduce these traditions, it allows both long-time devotees and younger generations to connect with Filipino faith in a more personal and meaningful way.
Taken together, these efforts reflect Casino Plus’ belief that supporting communities also means caring for the traditions that bind them—faith, culture, and shared experience. In observing Holy Week, Casino Plus stands with its partners and the communities it serves, with the hope that these traditions continue to be lived, experienced, and passed on in the years to come.
