DOLE Taps LANDBANK Digital Platform for Faster, More Convenient Fee Payments
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has entered into a partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) to adopt the Link.BizPortal as its official electronic payment system, enhancing the speed, accessibility, and efficiency of labor-related public services.
The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement by Labor Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma and LANDBANK President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette V. Ortiz. The initiative supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to expand digital government services and simplify public transactions.
Under the agreement, DOLE Central and Regional Offices are now authorized to accept online payments for various fees, enabling clients both in the Philippines and overseas to complete transactions without the need to visit DOLE offices in person.
Through the Link.BizPortal, clients may pay assessed fees using Philippine Peso accounts with LANDBANK and other BancNet member banks, as well as via mobile wallets such as GCash and Maya. The system ensures secure and transparent transactions while providing real-time payment confirmation as immediate proof of payment.
The platform is also expected to significantly cut processing time by eliminating the need for clients to return to DOLE offices solely to secure official receipts, thereby easing administrative burdens on both clients and personnel.
DOLE said the integration of Link.BizPortal forms part of its continuing digital transformation efforts aimed at modernizing internal processes, improving service delivery, and promoting a more responsive and client-centered government.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by DOLE Administrative Service Director Ina Lou B. Floirendo and LANDBANK Branch Head Marilou L. Villafranca. (LB)
