Philippine Veterans Bank recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement today with the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental (PGNO) and payment system operator, Paynamics Technologies, to facilitate online and offline payments for Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary, and Bacolod City-located hostel, Negros Residences.

The tripartite agreement will benefit Mambukal Resort and Negros Residences as both province-owned establishments will now be able to offer visitors the option to pay for their reservations even before they arrive in Negros Occidental. Under the MOA, Veterans Bank and Paynamics will allow online payment options through the use of debit or credit cards, GCash, and other e-wallets. Additionally, visitors will also be able to pay “over-the-counter” through payment centers like Bayad Centers and SM Bills Payments Centers or through payment-accepting establishments such as 7-Eleven stores, Palawan Pawnshops, Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshops, and M Lhuillier Pawnshops.

These additional payment options, both online and offline, is expected to increase the number of visitors hoping to experience adventure in nature at the famed Mambukal Resort and will also drive the occupancy of the Negros Residences.

The signing ceremony was held at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol Building in Bacolod City and signing for the three parties were Hon. Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson for the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, President and CEO Mr. Renato A. Claravall for Veterans Bank, and Chief Executive Officer Ms. Mylene Chua-Magleo for Paynamics Technologies.
